Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains, in plain language, what information Paws with Purpose Coaching collects, why, how it’s used, and the choices you have. I’ve tried to keep it honest and readable rather than burying it in legal jargon.

Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to pawswithpurposecoaching.com and to the coaching services, community, newsletter, and scheduling offered by Paws with Purpose Coaching LLC, doing business as Paws with Purpose Coaching (“we,” “us,” “I,” or “Brenda”). By using the website or enrolling in a program, you agree to the practices described here.

Information I Collect

I only collect what I need to run the coaching business and serve you well. Depending on how you interact with Paws with Purpose Coaching, that may include:

Information you provide directly

  • Name and email address: when you subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a contact form, book a call, or enroll in a program.
  • Payment information: when you enroll in a paid tier. Payment details (card numbers, billing information) are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. I do not see or store your full card number.
  • Scheduling information: when you book a consultation, the date, time, and contact details you provide for that call.
  • Training and dog information: details you choose to share about your dog, your training progress, your disability-related needs, and your goals, so I can provide relevant coaching and guidance. You control how much of this you share.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics data: like most websites, this site uses analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect standard technical information: pages visited, time on site, general location (city/region, not precise), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This helps me understand what content is helpful and improve the website.
  • Cookies: small text files stored in your browser that support analytics and site functionality. See the Cookies section below.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information collected to:

  • Deliver the coaching program, community access, and services you enroll in.
  • Communicate with you, respond to questions, send program updates, appointment reminders (by email or text), and (if you’ve subscribed) send the newsletter.
  • Process payments and manage enrollments and upgrades.
  • Schedule and conduct coaching calls and consultations.
  • Provide personalized training guidance based on what you share about your dog and your needs.
  • Improve the website, content, and program based on how people use them.
  • Meet legal and accounting obligations.

I do not sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.

Sensitive Information

Because this is a program for people with disabilities, you may choose to share information related to your health or disability so I can provide appropriate coaching. Sharing this is always your choice. I treat this information with care, use it only to serve you, and never share it without your permission except as required to deliver the service (for example, discussing it during a coaching call you’ve booked) or as required by law.

Community and Public Posts

Part of the program includes access to a community (hosted on Skool). Anything you post publicly in the community, including messages, comments, images, your display name, or files you upload, is visible to other members and is not private or covered by this Privacy Policy. Please use good judgment about what personal information you choose to share in community spaces. If you want to discuss something private, contact me directly by email instead.

Third-Party Services I Use

To run the business, I rely on trusted third-party platforms. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

  • Skool: hosts the course content and community. Your account, posts, and progress within the community are handled by Skool.
  • Calendly: handles consultation scheduling and the information you provide when booking a call.
  • Beehiiv: manages the email newsletter and subscriber list.
  • Payment processor: securely handles payment transactions for paid tiers.
  • Google Analytics: provides website usage analytics.

I share only the information necessary for each service to do its job. I encourage you to review the privacy policies of these platforms if you’d like to understand their practices in detail.

Links to Other Sites

The website and my communications may contain links to other websites and platforms controlled by third parties. I’m not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites. Once you leave my website or click through to a third-party platform, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. I encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

When I May Share Your Information

I do not sell or rent your personal information. Beyond the third-party services described above that help run the business, there are limited circumstances where I may share information:

  • When required by law: I may disclose information if compelled by a court order, subpoena, or other legal obligation, or to comply with applicable law.
  • To prevent harm: I may disclose information if I reasonably believe it’s necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of you, me, other members, or the public.
  • Business transfer: if Paws with Purpose Coaching is ever sold, merged, or transferred to new ownership, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. If that happens, I’ll take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected under a policy consistent with this one.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work properly and to understand how visitors use it. Analytics cookies help me see which pages and resources are most helpful so I can keep improving the program.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when a site sets one. Disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site function, but you’ll still be able to read the content.

How Your Information Is Protected

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, and the third-party platforms I use maintain their own security measures. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. I can’t guarantee absolute security, but I work to safeguard your information and to partner with reputable services that do the same.

I keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the services described in this policy, to comply with legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve any disputes. When information is no longer needed, I take reasonable steps to delete or securely retain it.

Your Choices and Rights

You have control over your information:

  • Newsletter: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: you can ask me what personal information I hold about you, request corrections, or ask me to delete it. Just email me.
  • Marketing: you can opt out of promotional emails while still receiving essential program communications if you’re enrolled.
  • Text messages: if you receive texts from me (such as appointment reminders), you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or by letting me know by email.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you’d like to exercise any of these rights, contact me and I’ll respond as required by applicable law.

“Do Not Track”: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is currently no industry-standard way to respond to these signals, so my website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals at this time. You can still control cookies through your browser settings as described above.

Children’s Privacy

This website and program are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact me and I’ll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the business grows or as laws change. When I do, I’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of the website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
